Confession: prior to the show I didn't know what Laura Siegel is about. Through my seatmate I was impressed to learn that she travels abroad to source her fabrics and in her Fall 12 collection it shows. It had a nomadic feel to it, even the accessories seemed fit for a traveller: knitted notebook cover, leather knapsacks, and over sized scarves. My only concern was the collection was one tone throughout. Palette wise, I can only handle so much grey.
