Jason Wu For Target Is Coming To Canada

via looksforless

Just a few weeks,  after months of buzz Jason Wu's collaboration with Target launched and in minutes sold out immediately. Canada only got to watch and read about it. Until now.

On February 23rd (next Thursday) Canadians will finally be able to buy the collection during the one day pop up shop at 363 King St. W. “Working with Target has allowed me to reach a much broader audience and I’m so excited that my Canadian fans will have a chance to experience this collection for the first time,” said Jason Wu  who spent his childhood in Vancouver and also be making an appearance at the pop up.

If what happened in the U.S is any indication, this collection will sell out fast on it's one day stint. Designer collaborations tend to do that and the price for this one is especially low. The collection will range from $10 (for a scarf) to $45( for a trench coat). The pop up also has a charity twist giving all its proceeds to United Way Canada. Still, to avoid chaos there's a three limit purchase.

So whether or not you even know Jason Wu (his claim to fame was Michelle Obama wearing one of his dresses for the Inauguration Speech back in 2009) it'll be worth checking out. “The buzz surrounding Jason’s line for Target has been incredible, and, given his ties to Canada, we thought this collection would serve as a great introduction to Target’s take on affordable design,” said John Morioka, senior vice president of merchandising, Target Canada.

Excited for this pop up.
