September Moodboard

September is a season of new beginnings. We say goodbye to summer - whether we like it or not - and officially hello to fall. Jackets and sweaters start to appear in stores and dreaded commercials about back to school shopping start to air in our televisions.

In Toronto, the annual CNE is another signifier that things are changing and we have one last hoorah in the form of carnival games and funnel cakes. Then there's the Toronto International Film Festival that attract film goers and actors and actresses come out to promote their films. And for the first time ever, Toronto will host it's first Fashion's Night Out, a one day event to encourage people to go out and shop with fun events hosted by various retailers.

What is strange about this September, is that it too, aligns with personal new beginnings. It's terrifying and exciting at the same time but all changes are similar in this way. Although we might hate it and wish it wasn't, change is almost always good. Let's just treat it like the summer we had and enjoy the ride.
