Phillip Lim is a hit and miss for me (I still want a kapow sweater and an ombre shirt though) but for pre-fall, it's a thumbs up. Inspired by bikers, my favourite pieces are the ones that look like a love baby with a moto jacket. The opening look, a trench coat with a side zip and arm pit slits to put your arms through is an option for anyone trying to look cooler than the typical trench wearer. There's also blazers treated with exposed side zippers but this being Lim, it is as tough as it is soft. My favourite though are the oversized sweaters with zippers on both sides (there's a pattern here) that really anybody could wear. But if you want to stop the show cuz you're well, a showstopper, the blue (and beige) neoprene jacket with eagle wing prints on both arms is it. But if you don't agree the rest of this collection, just like the biker inspiration, is as tough as it is strong.
